JJ Nolis was born in the small town of Endicott in the Finger Lakes region of the New York state. JJ's hometown was the home of Endicott-Johnson Shoes, IBM, Pat Mitchell's Ice Cream, The Cider Mill (home of the best candy apples in upstate New York), and the his favorite restaurant: Phil's Chicken House, where the Nolis Family could frequently be found on a Saturday night. All of these places played an important role in JJ's humble beginnings, and to this day he still enjoys hanging out at these venues when he visits his hometown.

The youngest of four children, JJ's family was a cross between the Brady Bunch, Partridge Family, and the Von Trapp Family. Music was always a big part of the Nolis household-however, it wasn't until moving to the beach communities in The Hamptons after college that JJ began exploring his musical career as a songwriter, singer, and music producer. After many years of attending songwriting workshops and singing at numerous restaurants and bars throughout the New York City area, JJ took the big step of heading to Nashville, TN, where he has recorded 2 critically acclaimed albums: YOU, and the pop/country crossover hit album, Ponyride (which include the hit songs, City Boy/Country Song and Pony Ride.

With more than ten years in the music business, JJ is now an accomplished songwriter and producer, and a world-known vocalist who can interpret his own and other writers' songs with his unique, rich voice. JJ recently put the finishing touches on a new album titled "The Rain Project." The album is now available for download on iTunes.
